Calling All Curvy Fashionistas

Hello hello helloooo....

Welcome to My world! So hi there...

This is my very first time blogging and am all excited to share my views with my fellow fashionistas, whether you are an upcoming designer or an established fashion designer, boutique owner, tailor or even just love dressing up and keeping up with the fashion world ... Whatever it is, as long as you love fashion! But I must say that I'm just a normal everyday chick. I come from another different industry all together but fashion has always been in my blood. I just love to dress up since I was a kid and I was truly inspired by my fashion icon - Princess Diana. To me, she was really the best fashion icon of the 20th century. Who wouldn't love her? Well except for that cow of a husband of hers...

Anyway, as I was saying, my blog will be based on my personal ideas and views as I go about my daily life observation, mainly in the fashion area. I would however, try to focus more on young women whom isn't all stick thin but rather a fuller figured woman. Hey, not all Malaysian girls are supermodel built. Every Malaysian woman is different in many ways. I myself do not have the supermodel like body as you can see. It's just that I feel the need to share my knowledge and ideas as fuller figured woman as this category of women seems to be 'forgotten' in the fashion world. It doesn't mean that if you're curvy or on the heavier side means you have to be frumpy in your dressing. We are women too and we have feelings just like any other normal human beings. I'll elaborate more in my upcoming blog later on.

Well, allow me to tell you a little about myself. I consider myself as a late bloomer and I've always wanted to be involved in some way in the fashion industry. But with so much going on I had to put my dreams on hold, until now...starting with being a blogger, I hope that someday I would be able to be a fashion writer (in the process of studying by the way) and at the same time run my own online fashion business. And who knows?, I might dabble a bit in modelling (for plus size of course, unless I've reached my ideal figure hahaha...). All these thanks to Sex & The City and Ugly Betty for my inspiration!

I also don't see myself as a expert but just someone who has her own personal views that I'd like to share and at the same time keep on learning as I go along.

I truly hope to get to know my readers better so that I'll not only expand my network and make new friends but to get to know you more - my fellow fashionistas!
