This time last week the world witnessed yet another royal wedding. Everyone loves a royal wedding cos everyone wants to see The Dress!! And as for most of us fashionistas always keeps a lookout of what the wedding guests would wear...and of course those fabulous blink blink royal jewels. Assured the royalties never fails to enchant us with their designer assemble.
But I must say for the recent wedding of Prince Carl Phillip of Sweden was a little let down for me. The dress wasn't exactly what I would expect. Yes it was a simple design but nothing really spectacular about it. It was rather an old outdated design and there is nothing unique about it. It didn't have the Royal Bride feeling and it made her look like any other brides, not to mentioned she looked older beyond her years. The last royal disappointing dress was Zara Phillip's. I felt that it is clear that not much effort was made into the design of the dress and it very much lacked that 'Wow' effect. It did look to me as if it was a rushed job. Simple dress yes but it just didn't fit for a woman of her status at all. For sure it would be another one of the royal weddings that people will not remember.
